Thanks to all for your input. I guess the internet can really work for you. Living on the prairies near the mountains means that we have no ocean nearby therefor not many boatyards so keep me in mind if you know of a great deal nearby.

Right out your back door!

Garth, Go out to Ghost Lake and see Mike Weinert at Spinnaker Yatchs. He's the Hunter dealer for the region and he has many other use boats (trailerable and fixed keel) in the yard. Then do a search on the internet, in any search engine, on 'sailboats, for sale'. I've bought two Hunters from ads that I found on the internet. Had some fun doing it too! Don't forget the Boat Journal. You can buy that at any news stand where the Auto Trader is sold. Good hunting for Hunters! Larry Barnes "CNTRL SEA"

After you've been to Spinnaker....

Get prices from Spinnaker yachts (www.spinnakeryachts.com), then contact Eb's Sail and Sport in Saskatoon. The last time I got quotes, Eb's were lower. I suggest you also call Hunter Trailer and Marine, outside Edmonton (check your yellow pages). They don't sell Hunter sailboats, but they have some of the best prices around for the outdoorsman (campers, powerboats, and maybe some sailboats).
