Previous owner changed over from tiller to pedestal steering and never moved the controls,I have pulled out the throttle handle and remove the engagement knob, and wanted to know how to remove chrome cover? it appears that maybe in screws off? having 2 flats on the round surface that a wrench could be used on? I assume that after removing this cover it will be mounted by a few bolts, then a new hole can be drilled at other end on storage compartment to relocate control.Has anyone done this conversion ? also wanted to know if cables will have to be changed?
