Don't plan too far ahead...
I just moved my 36 from Texas to Mia, Fl. My first carrier with whom I contracted weeks in advance called just days before the pick up date to say they would be delayed 2-3 days. Don't plan too far in advance. I cancelled with that carrier and found another within minutes (there are many) and got my boat delivered earlier for the same price. Their schedules are plagued with delays, so find one only when you are ready and shop around. R Beecham
