Pass a cold winter night by watching "The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant". Based on the true story of a women that sailed from England to New Wales as a prisoner, and then escapes on a small boat. I'm not going to ruin the ending here..and recommend you don't ruin it for yourself by reading the full account on the internet. Watch the movie first!
The sailing scenes are limited but the whole story is very engaging. What an adventure! So while you're mending your sails, watch this DVD. It's an Aussie film so it may be difficult to find in your local rental store. I randomly picked it out because I saw the square rigger & pirate scene on the cover. Lucky find!
