Mounting tv in a 29.5

I want to mount a tv in a 1994 29.5 and was wondering if anyone else has done this and where did you put it. I am considering the area on the port side next to the companionway, but when I press on the wall there it flexes a little bit as if there is some hollow space behind the liner there. I wanted to attach a piece of hardwood to the wall there and then screw the TV mount to the wood, but not sure how to attach the wood. Any thoughts?

We did that and used toggle bolts. Have not had a problem.

Thanks Benny, I thought about spraying some foam behind the liner to stiffen it a bit
