Any idea on how to mount a Forespar MOB pole on the stern of H-380 with B&R rig. The base is no problem, but trying to fiqure out how to support the pole and cover the flag is.

Mounting MOB Pole

I mount mine horizontally from the perch seat outboard, outboard of the arch, and along the lifeline. Necessitated shortening it a bit to stop short of the boarding gate.
A friend leaves his free standing, form the stern pulpit with the top of the pole not supported. He has done this for years now without any problems. His pole has a cap that is puched down over the rolled up flag and is attached ot the stern pulpit with a long piece if thin line or heavy twine. When the pole is deployed, the twine will pull the cap off the flag.
