mount a dingy outboard motor

any suggestions how to mount an outboard motor for a dingy on the stern of a Hunter 29.5? the stern rail seats make this a problem for the conventional mounts. a good place is behind the helm seat but this blocks the re-boarding ladder.

you didn't specify a year but Ralph's suggestion worked fine on my '96 29.5

I used a piece of material like starboard with a piece of wood to build out the top. Got some stainless U brackets from Lowes. Works great
