Dennis, Check out the smaller boat archive as
there was quite a lot of discusion about this in the last 60 days or so. I do know it was after the first of the year. I many cases it was more work than is was worth. There are problems with linkage when raising the motor etc. All reasons to disconnect for this purpose etc. Ray
