I am the new owner of a 192 O'day. The outboard motor bracket needs to be replace. There are smooth faced bolts on the outside and no apprent way to access the bots from the inside. Does anyone know how to go about doing this? If I cannot find a solution I am in deep trouble. Thanks. Captain Tony

Access to motor mount
The motor mount on my 192 was replaced before I bought the boat. The yard that did it installed a 6" access port (one of those round plastic ones) in the aft side of the fuel tank locker to access the bolts. I used the same access when I re-bedded the starboard mooring cleat this past summer so its usefulness is not limited to just the motor mount.
