The Morons, or is that CS school flunkouts, at Yahoo's email department think that any email from SailBoatOwners.com is spam! :naughty: :cussing:

Maybe someone with a CS degree should teach them programming! ;)

Given the ever declining quality of search engines, especially Google, as businesses learn how to manipulate the results, I guess I am not surprised the rest of their operation is no better.

Click on the "tools" tab on you tool bar and use the drop down menu to find and allow certian senders.

Spam Guard

Yahoo mail has a thing they call SpamGuard. You can use it to set what messages you get in your inbox and which ones go to your Sapm folder. You also have the ability to identify a message as not Spam in which case it will then always go to your inbox.

SpamGuard is ON:[Edit Settings]

SpamGuard ensures that suspected spam is delivered to the Spam folder, and is deleted after one month.What's this?

That's better than hotmail, they seem to think that nothing is spam. No matter how often you matk something as spam, it lands in the inbox. Tested it with my other email address, sent myself a letter, marked it as spam, and it still goes through.
I'd rather have a few false blocks, than to have everything come through.

One thing that does get me laughing is that hotmail (or microsoft whatever) sends periodic 'news' mails, basically trying to get you to sign up for other services, but every one of those I've recieved, hotmail has tagged with 'this message contains scripts that may be harmfull to your computer'
I normally use Yahoo, hotmail is mostly my 'trash' collector

Personal opinion: based on the delayed mail queues we see to both hotmail and yahoo I wouldn't use other of them. Yahoo is the worst. Very difficult and slow getting mail to them. FWIW, Google seems to behave much better.

I used to appreciate their service but it has got really odd lately. I also have problems sending emails to my Yahoo account from my smart phone. Whatever they have going on there does not send an email reciept back so I never know if it went through or not. Most of the time it does not.

I guess you get what you pay for. When the price is free, you about have to expect it.
