Morgan 41 furler

Hi folks. I am the new owner of a Morgan 41. Someone left the Genoa loose and it is all ripped up. The yard lashed what is left of the sail the furler.

How does the sail attach the the furler? The yard didn't think it in a slot like my hunter.

Did you ever figure this out NY1T? Probably a luft tape and slot.

Thanx, yes. It is a slot. I unfurled it and brought it down. The guy at the yard said it was permanent, but he was talking about the furler being the forestay.
