Morgan 382 Standing Rigging

Hello,
I recently bought a 1980 Morgan 382. The rigging is original and I would like to replace it. Has anyone done this? Do you have a recommendation?

Also, the mast is just a little too tall for the bridges in and around Fort Walton Beach. Since I'm replacing the rigging anyway, this would be a good time to shorten the mast a little. Has anyone done this? I don't want to lose the performance, but it would be nice to be able to go more places.

The Morgan 382s are great sailing boats. I've had mine for almost 4 years and I love it.
