Ok, stupid questions (i hope)
1st stupid question: The guy we bought our Morgan 22 from (going to pick it up Sunday) says you have to have a hoist lift it off the trailer and into the water....now, i know it's a heavy boat but is he right? I thought it was more "pocket cruiser" than that. 2nd stupid question: Is this too much boat for a beginning crew? We have a seasoned sailer friend to guide us but, would we have been better off getting a Mac/Venture, Catalina or Oday for a first? There seems to be alot more information out there about those than the Morgan. Our boat hasn't been abused, she's in good shape but needs cleaning (has sat for about 4 years) and doesn't come with everything (running rigging and coast guard stuff not included). We expect alot of surprises and work but...is it "do-able" for a newbie twosome? I appreciate any thoughts and if any of you are in the MI area, we'd love to hear from you. Thanks, becki
