Are we sure of the thickness of the red rubber? The 1/8" that I received seemed pretty thick compared to the material I took off. Could the previous owner have replaced the original rubber with 1/16"? I'm wondering if I will have to increase spacer sizes in other areas of the rudder.

Rudder Repair

I used the 1/8 rubber and did not need to change the spacers.
