Measuring on my Series I Vega (#1331) shows the glass and the cabin
side are lined up on the same plane, using a seal like this:

Clint Edmonds has a Series III Vega (#3326)that has a different type of
weatherstrip. He sent me a sketch, which I've added to a bit, like this:

No idea what the Series II used.

I would guess that Albin Marin improved the design of the big cabin
windows to prevent them from being pushed in by a large wave. If anyone
has more specific info on this please let me know.

Also, no idea about the small forward windows, but I would guess they
match the rear ones of the Series they're fitted to.

I still like the VAGB aluminum-framed ports the best :)
Hope I didn't put you all to sleep ... I just had to clear this up.

Hi Peter

Series I and Series II windows are teh same. Glass is smaller than the hole so can be pushed in by hefty push!

Series III uses different profile, Im still trying to source this rubber. Glass is larger than the hole so cannot be pushed in as easily.

Small windows are the same as large.

Scroll down the page to #WR1513. Maybe this is what you're looking

And ........... :)
On the web site mentioned below, under "Technical
Information", "Hints & Tips" is a .PDF file on how to remove and
install new rubber window channel. I'll put a link to it in the
Yahoo "Links" section.

Looking around their web site, they have an amazing selection of
rubber and plastic products. Good Stuff!
Too bad for us Americanos that they're in the UK.
