One user of whips

Have a friend who uses mooring whips on his 24' pontoon boat and is completely sold on them. His dock is on the river and he has tremendous boat traffic generating 3' "wake" waves. He has had them for three years with no storm or boat damage from passing boats.We were going to use them on our 216 but decided to use a lift instead to keep the bottom clean for racing.Be sure to buy the best!

We use them

Our H19 lives next to a dock on an active channel. Some big waves. We got the more expensive whips from West Marine. They are way over what is need for our boat, but they work like a charm. I single hand quite a bit and the whips make it easier to dock. (Just pull down on the whip line to move away from the dock.)
