We have recently purchased our first sailboat, a Catalina 22. We have our own dock but will have to run it alongside the end of the dock. What do you think of mooring whips? This is the best money that I have spenton my boat. I live in AL and also suffer high winds in storms. I bought from an online place in FL call mooring products inc. You can find them on the web. They are better quality than you get with West MArine etc.

Work fine
At our marina on the Chesapeake we're on a tee head. The manager installed mooring whips for us and they keep our H376 off the bulkhead very nicely. Really saves the rub rail. Tom LaRocco S/V Follow the Sun
