Steve; I am in a very exposed Yatch Club on the North side of the Toms River. I have the keel all the way up and the rudder also. This seems to make the boat ride better and eliminates alot of the slapping noises I heard espically with the rudder down. However I seem to recall that the owners manual suggests that a centerboard boat not be moored but kept on it's trailer to reduce wear espically in my situation. Boat is in a minimum of 3 feet of water. Jim Hanbeury C-22 8284 Laura B

Thanks for the advice. I just need to get some bottom paint on my boat so I can actually get it moored! I just need to get the swing set up, new screens in the doors, mow the lawn, go to work......HA
