But to access the Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island or up the coast, you must clear Canadian Customs. Which would be Bedwell Hbr, probably. For me to spend a day in, say, Wallace Island, I'd have to:
- Clear US Customs at Blaine
- Sail to Bedwell Hbr, clear Canadian Customs
- Sail on to Wallace Island.
- Sail back to Blaine, clear US Customs
- Drive 100 yds and clear Canadian Customs.

I know, cuz that's what I had to do at Pt Roberts (which is, actually, a very nice marina!)

Druid, you forgot to add the 1-2+ hour looooong lineup at the land crossings.

$700 per month for 40 feet in San Diego. But we have workout room, really nice pool and BBQ area, etc.
