I would like to add an apparent wind indicator to our boat. I have seen the Moor Electronics apparent wind indicator on the web, and the price looks like something I can swing. Does anyone have any info on this unit? It looks nice, but they all do on paper. Thanks in advance Dale

Moore instruments
We had a knot meter and depth meter from Moore they bot worked well. The instruments are made in Bufflao, NY I believe.

We have them on our 1981 25 Oday.The knot meter is amazingly accurate compared to the gprs.The depth meter compares favorably to the charts . When I had questions ,my phone calls to the tech department was awesome. These were installed when the boat was new.Previous owners had mangled the wiring.The tech folks never once tried to sell me anything.I would buy from them if and when these gauges stop.
