Anyone ever heard of Moonlight portlights? They are made by BSI in Denmark. Evidently they are one of the oldest portlight/hatch builders in the world. They happen to make the exact size and shape asymetrical portlight for my Ericson and was wondering about their reputation. I believe the ones in my boat were custom built by Lewmar. http://www.bsidk.com/site.asp?katid=20 Tim R.

Check and see if they are Lloyds approved.

that is the gold standard.

Contact their US dealer , Scandvick, Inc.

in Vero Beach, FL at 1-800-535-6009. Don't know about the reputation of either but it is always best to deal with someone who has a prescence in the US. The portholes look to be of quality so I'm sure you are looking at a good chunk of change.

I have already spoken to their US and Canadian dealers. I am looking for first hand experience. Not some sales guy telling me how great they are. Good point Ross. I checked Lloyd's website but see no way to look up this information. Tim R.
