Montego 19 rudder

I need a new rudder for my Montego 19. I am going to try to make one but the problem is, I am in Tucson right now and part of the rudder is in the frozen north in the Adirondacks. I have the old rudder but not mounting. I need to know the size of the bolt that goes through the rudder to lock it in place. Anyone have one that can check that for me? Thanks.

On my two 14' Catalina boats the kids use the bolts are 1/4 inch SS with 20 threads. On my 23 San Juan the bolts are 3/8 inch. I would go with 5/16 inch and you should be OK.
