I have some mold on a few of the throw pillows in my v-berth.These pillows cannot be washed. Does anyone have any ideas as to a product that could be sprayed on and wiped off that would remove the mold> Thanks, Jerry

Why not just buy new throw pillows?

They're cheap and available everywhere...Walmart, bed and bath stores, TJ MAX, Marshalls etc. and there's nothing special about the ones you have that makes 'em any different from the ones you can buy at any of those places.

Are they color fast?

Bleech is best if the color is fast, try a very small spot as a test,I use Scrub Free mildew stain remover, but it can make spots if color is not fast.

wash em anyway

I've washed throw pillows even though the label says don't. I even throw them in a warm (not hot). drier Just put them in the gentle cycle, if you really can't part with them. Otherwise, I'm with Peggie...toss em and buy new ones. They are really inexpensive. Joan

Toss Em

Morning Jerry! I'm with Peggie and Joan on this. I'd be more concerned about how they got that way to start with. If this is an on going problem, may be you should start considering de humidifiers, increased circulation, etc. With a well ventilated, dry as possible cabin, mildew will not be a major problem.
