I recently purchased a Beneteau 456cs, and am wondering what the "CS" stands for.It is a 1984 First 456cs, labeled on stern 1/4.

I'll guess, tried to look it up but to no avail. I'd say, without asking, Center cockpit/Shoal draft. There was two different drafts in that model. Probably not a CC though is it?

Its not a Centre cocpit, but has a 7ft. draft though. It has teak decks and a custom cocpit, not sure if done by beneteau though.

Beneteau used "Stark" to design some of it's models. Maybe contact beneteau. Call Ward Richardson in Marion, Carolina.
