Any information about this passage would be greatly appreciated; i.e. dangerous areas, points of interest, personal experiences, checklists, etc. Two people, a seasoned sailor and a newbie, traveling during June of 2000 for 2-3 weeks in a beautiful Catalina 30'!

TO THE KEYS
No way you can do all that in 2-3 weeks without making a forced march of it. Get a copy of the southern edition of the Waterway Guide. It tells all. Hurricanes are very rare in June and still relatively infrequent in July. Anyway the keys have a better record than the gulf coast where you'll be if you don't go.Buy the book, study it,and go. Just add about a month to the trip !
