Just check out her a....

I think the biggest differences are in the aft section of the boat. Until 1992 all C30s had an closed transom with bench type seat across the stern of the boat. In 1992, not sure which hull #, Catalina began to change the interior adding upgrades to the nav table and galley. The stern was opened via a "tee" shaped cockpit and walk-thru transom. The cabin top was flattend, fibreglas risers now held a flat traveler track. This is the version I have, the C30 markII. Finally, in 1994, the full swim platform, or sugarscoop was added with rail seating, even flatter combings which takes advantage of the beam. The underbody has never changed, nor the sailplan. Hope this helps... Kev s/v Reprieve

Chip Let me help: Use any search engine for "Catalina 30," and you'll find, for instance: http://usboat.com/catalina/ ... among others Then browse around and find the brochures within those 'sites, and you'll find the answer. Kevin was right about the hulls below the wl. Stu
