This weekend while sailing with my wife, I was checking out the main sail trim and noticed that both slides which connect to the lowest batten were detached and had dropped down. In looking closely at the batten one of the two plastic connectors was still attached (closed) to the luff, however the other was gone. It looks like a minor issue, but I was wondering what I might have done (reefing, etc.) to have caused this. I assume the slides can be re-attached easily, however it was getting dark and I left if for later this week. Thanks for any feedback.
