Mirage 25 Mainsheet travler

Has anyone with a Mirage 25 added a mainsheet travler instead of the twin mainsheet system originally with the boat ? Did you add it to the coachroof (cabin top) or to the cockpit area. I would really like to add a dodger and full enclosure to mine, but the twin mainsheets would make this very awkward and unsightly therefor I am looking to change the original mainsheet system.

I have a 1987 Mirage 25 that at one time had a dodger and in order to accomodate the dodger the previous owner changed the double main sheet system from the cabin top to a single mainsheet system anchored on the cockpit floor with a u-bolt.

Raz: Could you give me some more info Where in the cockpit floor is the ubolt positioned, close to the companionway ? Where on the boom was the block attached ? Did the previous owner add a backing plate of anykind to the ubolt and if so could you tell me how big it is ? Does there appear to be any stress cracks to the cockpit floor ?
