I have a Mirage 27 without tracks for my jib sheets. I have a block on the toe rail. I locate the blocks, depending on the size sail, to get the appropriate balance between the foot and the leech. The sheets are run outside the lifelines to the block and then to the winch. It's a matter of experimenting with each sail. The best position of the blocks is then marked on the toe rail for each sail for future reference and ease of sail changes.
