I have a friend who is into renovating Hotels and says this is what they use. Round-Up, yes, the stuff you use to kill weeds with. A 41% Glysphosate (sp) solution sprayed on the material will remove the mildew and the smell and not harm the fabric. Mixed 2oz. to the gallon of water. The main ingredient is some sort of salt, which percipitates moisture out of the air and kills the mildew. Let it dry and dust off with a brush. He swears this works, try a test swath and see.
