Two winters in a damp and sun warmed shed and a summer on a mooring where I couldn't keep the boat as open as usual together with last summers endless rain have turned my boat into a mildew garden.
I fought it constantly last summer and fall with vinegar which takes it off very well but it returns about as soon as you turn your back.
I was talking to a fellow in a paint store about how it grows up through paint from the surface. He said you have to kill it and people have been putting bleach on mildew for so long it has become resistant like anti-biotics.
Is there any way to kill this stuff? It's growing a lot of places I can't reach.
Things should be better with the cabin heater as I'll be able to really dry the boat out now but I'd like to get a cleaner start.
