Anyone know of a cure for mildew smelling berth cushions. They are the 14 year old originals with vinyl covering foam. I tries a 10$ bleach in water solution but the mildew odor is still strong. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance.
from the foam and let it dry out? When i have a pair of stinky shoes, i seal them in a bag and freeze them for a couple of days, when they thaw, the smell isn't there, where you are is it below freezing? What about febreezing them down? Did you try that yet?
if you can kill them (like freezing) the odors will go away. I would be a little hesitant to freeze vinyl as it may crack. Perhaps a chemical remedy would be best. Peggie the Headmaster recommends a product that can remove odors perhaps she can repeat the name for our benefit. With leather I will have no qualms, as a matter of fact I,m going to put my boatshoes in the outside freezer now.
