Are you a memeber of the MRYC in Baltimore (Essex, MD) or are in a marina located in the Middle or Back Rivers. My office (Dept of Army) is moving north and I am looking to relocate Fela a Hunter 49 (48.5 LOA, 14.9 beam, 5.5 draft and 50 or 2/30 amp service to a location north of the Patapstco . Velero49, Are you moving to APG? They have a yacht club at the Proving Ground.

I went to both APG and Edgewood it was either too shallow or too the slips were small for my boat. I would prefer to be closer to Annapolis is possible. Where is Perryvile, Md?

You said north of the Patapsco, but how about just up that river a couple of miles? The Maryland Yacht Club is on Rock Creek and is easy to get to from almost anywhere, via route 100, which you can pick up from I-97, 95, 695, etc. Great access to the Bay, very good slips and wide fairways. If you want details, let me know.

Perryville is up river, above the Amtrak bridge, at Harvre de Grace. Bridge clearance less than 50 fifty feet. Most slips less than five feet MLW. It keeps the rif-raf out. ;)

I keep my boat (Catalina 350) at Parkside Marina on Frog Mortar Creek, Middle River. The marina has about 126 slips, of which about 12-13 of us are sail. It is not a working yard, so there are no boat maintenance services offered. However, Maryland Marina is only 200 yards away, so you can get service there if you want. Being a non-working yard makes the place look very resort-like. I like it at Parkside Marina and highly recommend it.
