Microwave

I have a 2008 hunter 49 ,and my microwave is not working properly. When doors is closed it still running.
anyone have same problem. Also has anyone removed and replaced same ,how to remove.

I have a 41DS, wouldn't be surprised if it's the same microwave or a substantially similar installation - can you post a picture?

I have replaced mine a couple of times.
Never had one keep running on its own though.

Does it turn itself on when you close the door, or does it just resume previous operation? Is this a new behavior for it? If ours is hot inside, it runs a fan by itself that makes it sound like it is on, but it is only the fan and not the magnetron running.

It resumes .this just started at the end of last season.

Could be one or all three of the door switches. Can get a set of new switches for under $10 From Amazon. Make sure that you buy switches with correct configuration. (On / off). Could also be the circuit board.

Be aware of the switch configuration. some are configured to work in a normally open configuration; some are configured to operate in a normally closed configuration. Should be marked on the switch housing. Pay attention to where each type of switch is located on the door closure mechanism.
