I am hauling out this weekend and last year I painted the bottom with Micron CSC. I don't want to repaint this year, I am just doing the zincs and an inspection. My question is whether a pressure wash is going to remove the paint. Has anyone pressure washed Micron CSC and if so what was your experience. Thanks.

Yes, it will.

Rick: Go easy with the pressure wash because it can take a bunch of ablative paint off in very short order. This will become obvious by the heavily tinted run off that you create with the spray. If you feel you need to wash the bottom, spray lightly and quickly.

Shouldn't hurt

I've been told by the yard that it shouldn't hurt. A quick wash is fine. Mine was pressure washed on haul out last November. After being out of the water for the winter (in my case), a light brushing with a bristle pad will activate it. A pressure wash would accomplish the same thing.

Pressure washing will remove CSC. Buffing will reactivate it.

Mine survived

The CSC on my boat survived a pressure washing. I would agree that you want to be careful not to over do it.
