I'm shopping a 1987 C30 TRBS with a curious (curious to me anyway) fix at the base of the mast. For some unknown reason the previous owner (deceased) had the mast reset on a 12" X 12" plate of stainless steel. Any clues that someone has heard of before? Of course the broker says "should be better than new!" I don't know. All feedback appreciated. Dennis
