Umm, this might be splitting hairs a bit, but Ramadan was in August this year and has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas or the holiday season. I kind of suspect your typical Muslim would be a bit offended by trying to tie their holy month to a Christian or especially a Jewish celebration.For the Christians, Merry Christmas, For the Jews, Happy Chanukah, For the Muslims, happy Ramadan and for the atheists, good luck .

I doubt most would be offended. Maybe just roll their eyes and toss out an "uhh,...thanks...." Not everyone sees ill intent where none exists.
