I want to wish everyone who reads this board a very Merry Christmas, and a happy and prosperous New Year. I feel like each and every one of you has become a friend, and those whom I have personally met have not disappointed. I am currently in the Dallas area, helping my mother who fell right after Thanksgiving and broke her pelvis, but hopefully she will be up and around soon. She is doing very well, but unfortunately there is no salt water anywhere near. Plans are still be be in USVI by the end of January. This time of year warm is always better. To each and every one of you, cherish and enjoy your family this holiiday season.

Give your Mom our best wishes for a full recovery! This is a great website for keeping up with friends from all around and I will look forward to your posts about the Islands! With just a tinge of jealosy, we will be doing our best to stay active here in the frozen north! The snow looks nice today, though, and we are looking forward to some skiing during the next few months. Already, the days are getting longer and before long, we'll be uncovering Thunderbird for another much anticipated season! Enjoy the New Year!

BTW, I'll enjoy a glass of wine later on today and think about sailing!

Merry Christmas and a happy healthy New Year from New Yawk, we will have a white Christmas cause there's still a lot on the ground from last weeks 20" snowfall.
I would have been traveling to Florida in the RV this Christmas but my wife just gave birth last week to a 7.4 lb. boy so were staying put this Christmas.

Hey RAD, congrats. Wow! Your a braver man than me. When we had our Elizabeth, it was like starting over. I can't imagine two. See if he is ready to make a long sail in July. Hope to meet him at the rOnDAYvous.

Merry Christmas to everyone, and thank you all for your knowledge, experiences, and open attitude. It makes my day go a little bit better when I read this forum. We are getting our first white Christmas in 19 years in Ks. Mo. Hope everyone enjoys the holiday and can't wait till things start thawing out.
