Interested in latest opinions from users of Mermaid condensators. There was quite a bit of interest in them on this site in the past, but have not seen much about them recently. I want a dry bilge but the condensate from my 2 AC units goes to the bilge at the moment.

that I have built in to my Hunter 260. it works great and has been no problem and provides me with a dry bilge. John, Baums Rush

Four Years and Still Working

Installed mine on my King Air 16000 BTU about four years ago and still works great. Beleive the instructions mention something about cleaning it once in a while but never got around to it, still working fine. If I ever bought another boat it would be one of the first things I installed.

We are in agreement.

Five summers and nary a problem. Not with the condensator and not with the Mermaid(12K). It keeps the pan dry because it actually sucks the condensation out of there. Everything should be so simple and work as well.

Mine Too

Five years, no problems, expensive but worth every cent to have a dry bilge! Mermaid is a great company too, best service.

Gottan link or vendor

I thought I recall reading about something like this. Having just gotten a boat with AC unit I am amazed at how wet the AC can make the bildge! Is there a link to one of the dohickies?
