Mercuray 3.9 hp

I was given a merc 1968 3.9hp OB. Question is how do yo turn off engine and hoe much does it weigh, It is a long shaft but was going to try it on my walker bay 11' inflatable floor dinghy. I ]'d appreciate any insights into this engine! THX

If it is anything like my 7.5 and 9.8 merc's there is a kill switch located by the lever you engage the prop. It is a push button.
