Merc 9.9 fuel consumption rate

My observations on fuel consumption are as follows:
O'Day 25, board up, 2 persons aboard, dingy drag estimated at 8#
Speed 4 1/2 to 5 kts. Distance 32 miles by chart. Time 6hrs 12min.
Apparent headwinds 5 to 10 kts estimated average of 7 kts. Seas flat.
Tidal currents out and back nearly canceled each other.
Fuel consumption 2.1 gal, 0.33 GPH, 15.4 MPG.
This is only what happened on this trip but may serve as 'ball park' figures for planning estimates.

With my new Merc 9.9 at about 2/3 throttle and just under hull speed I use about 1/2 gallon per hour.
