Sunday May 25, 2008. Walked out the back of my shop and saw this at the Napa Yacht Club. 20 boats total. This is the most I've seen at one time. Hopefully the city will have the downtown dock back in place this year. Otherwise the clubhouse is the only place to go ashore and it's gated.

Great pic. I've always wanted to go up the Napa River, but never knew where to anchor so I'm trying to orient myself with this picture for future reference. Is that that Napa Yacht Club in the distance? Is this looking up river or down river. Thanks!!

Sail trip to Napa

I'm wondering if I can sail to Napa in 40' sailboat (6.5' draft). Do they have any guest berths at the Napa Yacht Club or is it just mooring bouys? Any other advice for the trip?
