On this Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is a solemn reminder of the true cost of freedom and the courage it demands.

I was thinking yesterday that I don't personally know a single soul that was lost in service to this country. Despite having grown up in the Vietnam era, having a brother who was a career naval officer, and my father and uncle served in WWII, I have lost no one. My Memorial Day thoughts go out to those who can't say the same.

Issah 6:8.
And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”
Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”

In memory of all those who answered the call. Who raised their hand and swore to protect us. Thank you.
