members and database

Steve mentioned something about a database at one point. I'm wondering
if that means there's a database of Vegas, their hull #s, owners,
locations, etc... Is there such a thing? I'm just curious.

Has there ever been a US Vega rendez-vous? I'm in NY and I see Nick is
from Maine. Thanks for the cabin heater link Nick! I saw a couple
folks from Maryland I think. Any other northeasters in the group?
Any interest in such a thing? I spoke to the gent who ran the US Vega
page and I've been nudging him to get the thing back up for us (or
give it to me). He's in Hawaii so not much chance of his attending a
meet-up. :)

On a different topic, I'd like to offer my humble condolences to the
Brits. Words can't express my sadness for those lost in London
today. 'Nuff said.

Hi All

I have my own little database I keep on every Vega I hear of. That way Ican
build up a picture of what Series Vega is what, engine type etc etc... Big
Brother is watching you...lol

Thanks for your thoughts. My mum lives very close to where the bombs were
but she is OK. My thoughts go to the ones not so lucky. Fanatasism dressed
in the cloak of religion is a very, very, very bad thing...

Don't be so sure Andy,

d;^)

I've attended all but one of the Pacific Northwest Rendezvous and also went to the Albin Cruisers Rendezvous in Newport, RI a couple of years ago.

I have a pretty heavy schedule this year. I'm going to Denver in two weeks, Victoria and the Rendezvous next month and Orlando in September. I also want to get in a trip to Vermont sometime before the weather turns cold so, if you were to organize an East Coast Rendezvous say the weekend of September 10th, I might just show up there.

A thousand pardons! :)
I was thinking it'd be a long sail from Hawaii but I guess contrary
to my opinion there are other ways to travel besides sail LOL
Well folks, what about it? September 10th a good time for a
mettNgreet in the mid-North east? Who's around, who's interested?
Where's a good spot? Being based in the Hudson anything between Mass
and MD is a decent sail for me. :)
