Our search for a blue water sail boat is just about over. We physically hit the road out of NE Washington State Aug 10th and hit Georgia on the 16th. We then slowly crept down to Miami looking at 2 to 4 boats a day without let-up. As we posted earlier there were many very nice boats and at very reasonable prices. The range was 80 to 120K. We decided to take a break for a week starting the 29 of Aug. Needless to say we saw a boat on the net the next day about 600 miles from where we were. It said to us "YOU MUST COME!!!" The deal should close next Friday or sooner and then we'll post the "rest of the story". Paul Harvey would have had fun with the story of our search and the finding of this boat. She's a 38 foot cutter we have named "Scooter". It could be bad luck to speak more before everything is final but we think you'll all be as amazed as we are. We really miss the site and try to get back on when ever we can while on the road. A month in motel rooms makes living aboard seem like heaven. Until next Friday. Ray and Maria S/V Scooter
