What is the differance between the 6A and the 6B engine? Just
curious about interchangeability of parts between the two.

Hi Richard
I believe the 6A has a starter geberater with seperate regualtor, 6B has starter and alternater.
There may be other differences as well

Hi Richard

The main difference on teh Vega is taht the MD6B has a starter motor and toohed flywheel whereas the MD6A has a Dynastart with belts that fit on the smooth flywheel.
