MD6 Injector Removal - Copper Washers

Just thought some may be interested to know that I successfully
removed the injectors this weekend by to soaking them with penetrating
oil overnight, warming up the engine, and twisting them with vice
grips while prying them upwards. NB Without twisting they do not
budge.

It is rumoured that there are copper washers down at the base of the
injectors. I did not get these out.

Are there any more suggestions how to remove these? Thanks, Trev #2915

Thanks Steve. I feel much better now. The thought of trying to extract
old washers out of the bottom of the injector sleeve gave me a headache.

Hi Steve,

Please put me on the list for your double bow roller. Do you need a downpayment? Also what else do you sell for the Vega? A list would be very helpful. As I told you we are going to gut the entire boat and build everything new. Thanks ANDI
