I have a volvo manual but it doesn't help much. Can anyone give me instructions on valve adjustment on the MD11C??? First which are the exhaust valves??? It seems simple but short of taking off the manifold it's not appparent. Second it says to get the rocker arms rocking then do one more complete turn. When I did this one of the valves would be depressed. So rocking means the valves are closed and not rocking means it is open. Closed valves for compression and power. Open for sucking in air and exhausting waste gases. Help. Tom

have someone show you how. And PAY ATTENTION. Expect to pay a pro. Make sure he knows that you need to learn this stuff. A boat is not like a car. The need for a tow can be much more dangerous. No need messing up a simple job. And it is simple. But it's also a touchy-feely thing.
