Anyone knows what is McLube Sailkote made off? It is Silicone or PTFE ....?
I'm curious as there's a dry lube product from Mr.McKenic I came across that contains Silicone so I'm wondering if it is similar to McLube.
Any idea?

I don't see an MSDS on their site. Maybe they should post them?

MSDS requirements are not intended to provide more than hazard warnings. Consequently, they are not useful for other purposes such as identifying inert or other non-hazardous components.

It's PTFE. The admiral works for manufacturer that sells them the base chemicals.
And they just call them SDS's now.

Ok so its PTFE. I noted a cheaper product on the market that said its dry lube. It mentioned silicone based. So I was wondering if its a cheap & good replacement for the expensive & good McLube.
Well it seems its cheap but not good for boat, it being silicone based.

I've seen some unscientific testing of the cheap PTFE no-name products in which the technician sprayed them on a substrate and after drying, left an indiscernible residual and compared that with McLube. The difference was startling. Don't waste your money on the cheap stuff.
