One of my external speakers has failed on my Oceanis 423, it is a CSG-3571, can anyone advise if they have had to replace one of these speakers recently as it appears the manufacture "Panor" has gone out of business. I am looking for either a genuine replacement or another make that will fit without too much modification.

I had to replace all the speakers, then the stereo itself, on my '94 Ben 40. I happened to hit a sale on the cockpit speakers and got the plastic cone instead of a paper cone. The installation was easy and straightforward. Most speakers of the same size and power will pretty well match mounting holes.

Polk Speakers
Just replaced the cockpit speakers on my 361 with Polk Speakers. The old ones just couldn't handle any bass any more. They sound great and are marine rated so weather proof. I used a silcone sealant around the perimeters. Haven't checked out any interference with the flux gate compass but they went right into the same place the old ones did so don't expect any problems.
